Privacy
The grief retreat and the deck outside are not overlooked, so guests can be assured of high levels of privacy.
Since the Cabin is in the grounds of a private home, there will occasionally be someone in other parts of the garden cutting grass/weeding/hanging out laundry etc.
I am available to listen if you would like to talk, however, I will respect your privacy and leave you to your own devices, unless you let me know that you need anything or would like company.
House rules
The Cabin and garden are non-smoking areas.
Sadly no pets are allowed to be able to accommodate guests with allergies. N.B. the resident dog (a very friendly mini labradoodle) will sometimes be in the garden but is not allowed in the Cabin.
Accessibility
Access to the Cabin is via a gravel path so not currently suitable for wheelchair users. This will be remedied as soon as possible.

Directions
By car
Calvin’s Cabin is located in Carberry, East Lothian, a 2-minute drive from the first junction off the A1 (Wallyford/Dalkeith) heading east. There is parking on-site for one guest car.
By public transport
The quickest way to reach the Cabin from Edinburgh City Centre is by taking the train to Wallyford, (10 minutes from Edinburgh Waverley, heading towards North Berwick or Dunbar). The cabin is a 5-minute taxi ride (or 30-40 minutes’ walk) from Wallyford train station.
The nearest bus stops are 10-15 minutes’ walk away in Inveresk or Whitecraig.
